Hair Extension Methods
Micro Rings-No Glue/No Chemicals/No Heat-
A popular strand by strand method also known as Dinkies-Micro loops.
Small silicone lined metal rings are squeezed flat using pliers, they hold your natural hair and the stick tipped hair extension together leaving a small, strong, secure bond. Great for those who prefer heat and glue free application.
Temporary Micro Wefts-
Approx 2hrs to apply. A weft is applied in strips to your hair using micro-rings. These are great for special occasions, if you are on a budget or unsure of getting extensions. They will last upto 1 month, you can get them tightened each month and have them in for upto 3months in total. If the weft is still in good condition you can get it repositioned and start over again!
Shrinkies-Heat method
Shrinkies are small plastic tubes which are available in clear or regular hair colours. Stick tipped hair is attached to your natural hair using a Shrinkie which is then heated. The Shrinkie shrinks to approx half its size encasing your hair and the stick tipped Extension leaving a small,strong, secure bond. During the heat process a small amount of glue from the tips of the extension hair MAY be present on your hair. It is easily removed but it makes this method not suitable if you prefer a 100% Glue Free application.
Pre Bonded-Hot Glue
Keratin glue is at the end of each pre tipped extension strand, this is then heated causing it to melt, the glue is then rolled into a small rice sized bond completely enclosing your hair and the extension together. Keratin is found in our natural hair making this one of the safest glue options available.
MAINTENANCE
Monthly Maintenance appointments are ESSENTIAL, these should prevent any damage occurring to your natural hair. Short overview of a typical maintenance check: slipping, failing, fallen bonds will be replaced. All bonds will be separated from its partner horizontally and vertically, moisturising treatments will be used, after care advice will be given, hair will be straightened or curled if required.
Eyelash Extensions
A consultation is required before fitting.
Hollywood Semi-Permanent Eyelash Extensions are
Lightweight, natural looking lashes.
Approx 2hrs to apply. Individual eyelash extensions are glued individually to your natural lashes. Only one extension to one natural lash. These will eventually fall out usually when your own lash sheds naturally. You can have a Natural look or go for the Glamour look. As a standard I install black lashes in varying lengths.
Coloured lashes and crystals are also available.
MAINTENANCE varies on each individual but is usually needed every 2-4weeks - Time approx 1hr- During the maintenance all extensions that have naturally shed will be replaced, so you continuously have a full set of lashes.
Sparkle StrandsAlso known as Tinsel Strands/ Bling Hair/ Shimmer Strands
Each Sparkle Strand is attached to 1-2 strands of your own hair with a secure knot. These will fall out when your hair naturally sheds lasting approx 2-6weeks. Various colours in stock including natural colours. As seen on many Stars including Beyonce. Suitable for both adults and children. A non damaging way of blinging your hair. Great all year round, for special occasions, contests or just a treat! I am willing to attend parties. Under 18s require signed Parental/Guardian consent.
Feather ExtensionsI have a variety of coloured Grizzly Synthetic Extensions in stock. Suitable for both adults and children. Each Extension is fitted using a micro-ring and removal is FREE I am willing to attend parties. Under 18s require signed Parental/Guardian consent.
Micro-ring Hair StreaksA safe non damaging option if you want to add colour to your hair without using chemicals. They will last approx 3months. 100% cuticle correct Human Hair Extensions. Various colours available. Synthetic Extensions also available.
If you are aged between16-18 and you would like Hair/Eyelash Extensions fitted, I am willing to do so as long as you get signed Parental/Guardian consent and an adult is present during the consultation and fitting.
